© TTG 2011 Led by the incomparable Enrico Tomasso this band pays homage to the trumpet greats of yester year - a show not to be missed! "Forty years ago Louis Armstrong passed away, without any doubt the greatest jazz trumpeter of all times. He would have been 100 years old this year. Three other trumpeters who have influenced many players and created styles of playing would have also celebrated their 100th birthdays: Roy Eldridge, Yank Lawson and Buck Clayton and Bix Beiderbecke left this world much too early eighty years ago. Many a song is identified forever with these extraordinary musicians: Louis Armstrong (West End Blues), Roy Eldridge (Rockin' Chair), Buck Clayton (Stompin' At The Savoy), Bix Beiderbecke (Singin' The Blues), Bunny Berigan (I Can't Get Started), Billy Butterfield (Stardust), Harry James (Two O'Clock Jump) - just to name a few."
